After another disappointing performance in this year's Cletus Cup, Bill ''Casper'' Fitzgerald is more than eager to take the ''banana flight'' off his tee shot and replace it with a more conventional straight ball. After mixed results in the past decade, Fitzgerald welcomed a meager suggestion from Steve ''Squeak'' Jones in teeing the ball higher, thus eliminating his usual first contact with the ground. Asked if this simple change on the tee box had made any difference in his game, Fitzgerald replied, ''those damn frozen steaks Mike bought better be good.'' Unfortunately for Bill, the change came too late to affect his dismal place in this years Cletus Cup tournament. When pressed to answer why he waited until the last day to share any advice with Bill, Squeak spoke in a condescending manner, ''F*k him, I tell him that every year.'' Jones also added, ''I can't wait to screw with him on his putting in the fall.''
