Evan Olson, an aspiring and well-respected rower at the University of Washington, was recently nominated and elected by his fellow teammates to carry the title of "Team Favorite," or the most-loved rower on the team.

Boat mate Viktor Pivac had a few words to say on the matter, "Evan wuzz by far the unanimouzz choice for the Team Favorite award. He hazz alwayzz been like a brother to me, and I will be very zad to part wayzz with him in a few yearzz."

Other Washington rowers, such as roommate Philipp Nonnast, also expressed their gratitude for Evan's shining and bold presence. "I fell in love with Evan's personality as soon as I met him. He was been my best friend throughout my entire college experience and I hope to one day be as loving, nurturing, and intelligent as he is."

But Evan's presence on the team is not the only one of his glowing attributes that his teammates boast of. "His technique is impeccable," says Alex Vollmer, the team's newest German recruit. "I hope to one day have the capacity to row on Evan's level. Evan is the one percent."

Simon van Dorp agreed with Vollmer, saying, "His knowledge of the rowing stroke, as well as the sport's culture and history, is unparalleled by anyone I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Evan's comments are witty, lighthearted, and entertaining."
