Local authorities were called on Tuesday of this week with reports of wild hogs by local residents south of Interstate 70 and east of Mt Comfort road. After a short investigation there was found proof of wild boars in the rural area. One source involved spoke to us, who chose to remain nameless, said "People should be concerned with what we've seen. These animals are killers (to other animals and small children) and can seriously hurt an adult human. With a number of campgrounds in the area I would be concerned for the safe being of those who stay there. These boars will be attracted to the food at these campgrounds."
