It is 100 important to make sure you spend your wedding budget everywhere other than on a DJ.
We have done extensive research into weddings and there is no reason why you should ever pay more than 600 for a dj for your wedding. Anything more is outlandish and completely unreasonable.
As you can see from the photo this 550.00 dollar dj was typical of what an expenisive and outlandish dj's gear would look like. This dj went a little overboard and bought top of the line gear and splurged for a 3rd matching speaker.
The sad thing is who has a laptop or iphone is qualified to be a dj.
Any DJ can go to his local good will or thrift shop and pick up quality gear. If he is lucky his parents may have exactly what you need already.
Music used to be expenise and set a dj apart. But, today's djs use Youtube, spotify, and Pandora and the music is FREE. Any song under the sun can be pulled up on demand. There is the usual silence in between songs, and the occasional advertisement that gets played between songs. No worries though that is completely normal and acceptable.
If you want to do your wedding dj a favor go ahead and pay for his youtube red or premium pandora subscription for a year. That would put an end to advertisements if that bothers you. I probably shouldn't have shared that insider professional wedding planner secret.
Anyone with a Ipad, laptop or even a working smart phone can be a dj. It does require a little bit of effort of going to walmart and finding an aux cord or an adaptor.
Take it from us anyone charging more than 600.00 to dj any event should be overlooked. Unless your last name is Trump or Clinton.
It takes zero talent to load a song and push play.
