Monroe County Republican Chairman Willliam Ellis responded to a Bloomington Democrat's Facebook comment with what some republican's are calling "straight fire!". Democratic Don Moore called out Ellis and his party for only needing one car to carry their elected officials in the Bloomington 4th of July Parade. Ellis responded by pointing out it was better than "watching from Jail" in an apparent reference to Democrats Steve Saulter, Amy Gerstman, Heather Cohee, and others local democrats having been charged and convicted of crimes while serving in government in recent years.
