All John Sanders wanted to do was enjoy nature and feed the ducks at the local pond last Saturday when he was assaulted by a small reptile. Cottonmouths, also known as water moccasins, were said to never chase people by so called experts and herpetologists, but this snake apparently didn't read those books. John was chased for hours and for 30 miles, a distance that exceeded that of a marathon (26.2 miles). Witnesses say he would have been chased further except the snake found someone else to chase. The snake was last seen rolling its body into a hoop and stinging people with its tail.
