Bedford Police Dept. received frantic 911 calls from several people who claimed Bigfoot was seen watching the Limestone Heritage Festival parade on Saturday afternoon.
"He was just sitting in a lawn chair, eating candy he picked up from the edge of the street" said local resident Mary Smith. "I'm quite certain people in the parade threw it to him." she said.
Locals said that after the horse poop scooper golf cart passed, that he quietly folded his lawn chair, and disappeared into the crowd.
The local Bigfoot hunter club said they will be on the lookout at the upcoming Christmas parade in December, just in case!
