As the news spread all over social media today about Shippensburg Speedway reopening one drivers name came to mind "Mike Crate" needless to say he is very happy about Shippensburg Speedway reopening. When contacted by phone Crate said "I can't wait" Crate is known for dominating the speedway in his taurus nosed mustang mini stock. One time he even jumped into a new car purchased by a fellow competitor that was clearly not as fast as his famed yellow 42 and still finished 2nd first time in the car. Crate said his trusty race car is sitting in the garage ready to dominate again he also mentioned that he does it all on his own he said his favorite race was one that he got a flat and changed it himself went back out 2 laps down and when the checkered flag dropped he was a lap ahead of 2nd place and he commented " it's the taurus nose everyone else runs mustang noses". Crates return is much anticipated by all.
