On July 7, 2017 it was reported that in June 2017 Associated Services’ Snack Department had surpassed May’s total, making it the highest grossing month on record in Associated Services’ history. This marks the 4th time in 6 months that the Snack Department has shattered the record, without any hint of slowing down. This record breaking month come during a tumultuous time in Associated Services where an increased amount of turnover has been experienced in the past couple of months, thus making the feat, even that much more impressive.
While many people are responsible for the record breaking month, do not look any further the Marvin Gutierrez, Associated Services’ Operations Manager, AKA El Capitan. Gutierrez has month and month again led his team into battle, overcoming many obstacles during this record breaking month. When asked for a quote Gutierrez said, “Que Paso? I just put the team on my back and carried them to success”. He did however give some credit to one of his team members, Gilbert “El Cigarro” Vargas. When asked for a quote, El Cigarro refused to comment, instead saying “I don’t do it for recognition, I do it, to make a difference”
