Seattle Seahawks' Quarterback Russell Wilson was officially subpoenaed today to appear in federal court over what some federal attorneys are calling the "strangest sexual misconduct case since Michael Jackson."
Wilson, 28, allegedly made his way, on his own accord, to adult video and toy stores in the Pioneer Square District of Seattle, claims Seattle District Attorney Pete Holmes, to solicit prostitution from post-surgery transsexual males.
In a sting operation conducted by both city and state's Sheriff Departments, Wilson was recorded on video agreeing to exchange an undisclosed amount of money in return for sexual favors from an undercover transsexual male prostitute on the night of June 28.
If found guilty, Wilson faces up to 4 years in federal prison due to the fact the money he was offering the prostitute was money that was donated to Wilson's Why Not You Foundation, a charity organization aimed toward youth programs.
The Seattle Seahawks and the NFL has refused comment.
