TIGARD, OR -

Tigard Police say there has been another cougar sighting in the area.

Police say at about 7:20 p.m. Friday, several people at Cook Park saw the cougar lounging on the outskirts of the park. The animal then walked into a heavily frequented bar nearby.

Police say the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife has been notified about the sighting.

Last week, a neighbor took a photo of a cougar in a neighborhood.

Wildlife officials urge all park and trail users in the area of Cook Park to be cautious.

Tigard Police also urge young men in the area to travel in groups and beware of the cat-like predator, especially when plying them with drinks.
