Palatine, IL — A Cook County sheriff’s office has doubled the number of deputies on patrol as a multi-county search enters its second day for Roos suspected in the theft of three motor scooters and the attempted scooter-jacking of a fourth.
Cook County Sheriff, Bill Jones warned the public to be on the lookout for 28 year-old Roos aka "Da Heist" .
Authorities say "Da Heist" is also suspected in the deaths of two bikers that he ran down with the stolen scooter.
Agencies in Illinois and Wisconsin are working together on the search for the suspect.
Only thing these bikers had in common was the fact that they rode rode bicycles and were bald.
If anyone has any information please call 911, do not try to confront him, as he is armed and dangerous and was last seen eating Vienna Sausages.
