Orbital ATK in Rocket center WV offers a "sign on" bonus to its union employees during their end of contract collective bargaining. The offer of a $15000 sign on was turned down by the union president Thomas "buddy" Vanmeters during the pre negotiations. Vanmeters says "we are not accepting their offer to loose a weeks vacation, we are planning to go on strike August 15th" This will not be the first strike for Local 261C as they stoked for two days on a previous contract.
