West Virginia Governor, Jim Justice, announced yesterday that the legal drinking age will be raised to 99 on July 27th, 2017 in the US Congress meeting of potential bills of West Virginia.
"The reason for this bill is to eliminate the increases of drunk drivers and keep young adults safe. The statistics show that 100 in WV of DUIs are from ages 0-99." Gov. Justice concluded in his recent interview with panera bread.
The law will go straight into effect on July 27th, 2017 and anybody that turned 99 years old after January 1st, 2017, will need to abide by the 99 year old drinking age law immediately.
