After two days of intense closed door meeting sessions with the Grant County Economic Development Authority, CEO Dick Stickler of Pla-Time Enterprises, LLC announced his company has been given the go-ahead to begin revamping an existing building in downtown Petersburg for his adult sex toy manufacturing business.
The Authority had expressed concerns about the location of the manufacturing business, since a church is located directly across the street. Lawyers representing Mr. Stickler were quick to point out however, that manufacturers of adult sex products are not under any kind of regulations or limitations such as those for establishments that serve alcoholic beverages.
Additional concerns were expressed about the nature of the company's signage and logo. Mr. Stickler assured Authority members that no logos or signs would be facing the church. He declined further comments.
The new manufacturer will employee 50-70 men in women in positions ranging from latex injection mold press operators, executive management staff, and product testers. Those interested in employment should contact Job Services in Moorefield, WV
