A local resident of Riverside, Texas lept into action single-handidly and saved the lives of a distressed mother and her 3 children who was stranded on the railroad tracks. When Darrin Trammell came across the scene and saw a train coming he knew there was no time to waste. Unbuckling the kids from their seats was too time consuming so he pushed the mini-van out of harms way and just in the knick of time. His britches got ripped by the speeding locomotive, but he's thankful to have been of help. When asked about the incident all he could say was that he was thankful to have been at the right place at the right time.
