The current mayor of Berwyn Heights recently stated that the quarterback of the Baltimore Ravens is set to sit in on one of the town hall meetings. The town's sports program has been looking for a new coach and sports coordinator for their up and coming football team. Berwyn Height's has been part of the local soccer, baseball, and basketball clubs but has never fully established their own football team. With the help of Joe Flacco, they plan on recruiting some of the best players and are hoping to popularize the sport with the youth of Berwyn Heights. Flacco plans on visiting the town of Berwyn Heights on Wednesday July 26 and hopes he can be an important part of the growth of the sport in this small Maryland town.
