NBA announces that it will place a team in Beckley WV as part of its 2018 expansion.It says that Beckley is a growing city and with WV having no other pro teams it would be only logical to make Beckley along with London England the cities to receive new expansion teams.They will play their home games in the Raleigh County Convention Center untill a new arena is built near the new East Beckley bypass . Its a 750 million dollar project expected to be completed in 2020
