Ocean City MD - Shark attacks two swimmers earlier today. Reports are unclear at the moment, but a lifeguard who does not wish to be identified at this time says one of the attacks was fatal. The unnamed lifeguard reports that a husband and wife were swimming in "knee deep" water when the male was struck. Hearing his screams she attempted to pull him out after he was bitten in the foot and was then attacked herself by what witnesses are calling a great white. The unidentified woman was fatally mauled while her husband frantically tried to punch the shark in the face. This is the first recorded attack in Ocean City. The beach has been closed until further notice.
