Due to recent weather changes and predictions, the National Weather Bureau has said that the area between 1 and 3 miles west of Blackfoot, Idaho will be the prime viewing location for seeing the eclipse in its totality. The eclipse will begin to be visible about 10:15 a.m. and will reach full eclipse at 11:32 a.m., with maximum eclipse occurring at 11:33 a.m. The eclipse will then start to diminish, finishing at 12:58 p.m.

This is a largely agricultural area, and much of the land is not available for viewing the eclipse. Please keep in mind that livestock will likely be spooked by the eclipse and will be unpredictable and potentially very dangerous. Law Enforcement will be enforcing trespass laws, littering laws, and all parking ordinances. Tow companies will be impounding illegally parked vehicles. However, many residents are making their yards and fields available for those wishing to view the eclipse. Parking is expected to go for $150.00 for a car and $300.00 for an RV or camper, although areas located more convenient to highways could go for a premium of $700.00 per car.

Fuel prices are expected to reach $8.00 a gallon on Monday and remain at that level until Tuesday afternoon. Restaurants and fast food places will be pricing food to try and match the increased demands, but are hopeful of having enough food in stock.
