Police are now investigating Buro Happold Engineering for fraud allegations. These fraud allegations come from inside sources within the company accusing the company of laundering money. Sources say illegal and "dirty" money was used when Buro Happold took on major projects such as the High Line Park, 9/11 Memorial, Atlanta Falcons Stadium, etc. The engineering company is accused of dealing with major drug cartel as a form of capital for the company. Police say chairman Mike Cook and CEO Roger Nickells have been laundering money for years and have been waiting on the right time to go after them. They have also cited they have "substantial evidence" to put them away for years. Police have also named other employees such as, Rey Sonnenberg, Jonelle Tyre, Myra Schaner, Satnarine Sukhdeo, Damian Washington, who they say willingly knew about the money laundering and will be charged with being an accomplice to a felony crime. Police are advising anyone with information to please call 1800-CRIMESTOPPER.
