Bluestone Coal Corp has purchased 20 homes at Long Branch, 14 homes at Road Branch and 1 home in Toler Hollow so far, occupants of said homes have 60 days notice to move. Bluestone CEO tells WSAQ News that they have only just begun, they hope to have all the small hollows bought out by spring of 2018.
An underground Mine will open in Long Branch and one in Road Branch that will bring 400 new jobs to the poverty stricken community's after all the land purchases have been completed.
