Attorney's of George R. R. Martin filed a suit against HBO, producers of the show, for reportedly, deviating from plot guidelines provided by Martin for the eighth season. A judge has ordered HBO to suspend production of season 9 indefinitely, until a verdict on the matter is reached. HBO had no comment on the allegations.
