Amory Jackson Barrett is a relatively obscure artist, in the U.S. But around the world his song has become a rallying song for people that are tired of being lied to. His song "What U Want Me 2 Believe" has been downloaded worldwide over a billion times. And how much money has Barrett made off this? Nothing. He has put every song he's written on the internet to be downloaded for FREE. Why would someone do this? Especially after being notified of the popularity he's gaining.
We contacted Barrett and asked him. "As an artist, I'm not 'in it' for the money. I'm 'in it' for the music. A lot of people have feelings they can't express. My music helps them with that."
