With the flash sale that happened during the long weekend, Zealanders fled their homes in flannel pj bottoms and t-shirts (some wearing socks and sandals) to stock up.
End of season discounts promised happy consumers it was worth the drive to town.
When questioning Mr. Morehouse what he was most looking forward to, he claims he was misled by Walmart's advertisng. It stated they have a new liquor store in place with 75 discounts on selected items as part of their grand opening special...this turned out to be a hoax.
Lets hope all Zealanders had a great long weekend and enjoy their purchases.
