Citing continued falsehoods from the media, Donald Trump resigned from the presidency effective 11:59 PM Eastern Daylight Time September 15, the White House confirmed. Michael Pence, the 46th president of the United States of America, was sworn in this morning at 9:00 AM in a private ceremony.
Trump supporters are split on the move. "The lying media never gave him a chance," said Jimmy Walter's, "he had no choice." Steve Galloway remarked "Good riddance. He said he was going to make America great again, and then he started working with Pelosi and Schumer, two of the worst people in the history of mankind." Cheryl Farnsworth blamed breakingnews247.net for posting a bogus story about the resignation, while Betty Williams blamed the people who shared the post without reading it.
