Many businesses were affected by the "round-a-bout" built in Morgantown in 2014. One business was extremely upset with the construction due to completely blocking commercial traffic coming West. His name was Mike Gasey, owner of Tounchdown City Motors, located at 1849 Milegeound Rd. Mr. Gasey had one of the top used car dealerships in Northern West Virginia until this construction of the round-a-bout. Finally, through a lengthy 2 year court decision, that finally ended Friday 9/15/17, Mr. Gasey may have had the best news to his career in the past 3 years. The court had decided to award him $1,300,000 in loss of business from the City of Morgantown. When speaking with Mr. Gases afterwards he said "I'm just glad to get this finally all over with. It was a long and time consuming trial but I'm happy it worked out. Being the most successful used car dealership business in Morgantown wasn't easy, and I had to work so hard to get here. I've had business partners that have actually stolen cars from me and harassed me with videos. But I've finally got this this point in my career where I can retire and start a retirement business if I want." Mr. Gasey stated he plans on starting a new dealership next month called the "Starting Point Motors" and is very excited.
