Baton Rouge City Council voted early Tuesday to move forward with moving the Baton Rouge Zoo in an area of town between the Louisiana State Capitol and the Exxon refinery. The move will bring the zoo closer to the Louisiana Legislative offices, which already houses a number of exotic animals and, thus, save money. Moving next to Exxon will force Exxon to stop illegal dumping of toxic waste on the property, which will eventually reduce toxic emissions to the point where Baton Rouge can purchase 2-year Inspection Stickers like the rest of the state.

The location is expected to bring about 1,000 percent more visitors than it's current location, which no one knows really where it is because we always have to use Google Maps' turn-by-turn directions to find it's location deep in the woods.

More about the move to come as details leak.
