The City of Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel has indicated he intends to step down as ties to Mexico Mayor are disclosed. The mayor has made it perfectly clear that Chicago is a Sanctuary City despite threats from Donald Trump and his administration to with hold Federal Funds. It is been rumored that Lisa Madigan may be interested in this position since announcing her intent not to run for Illinois Attorney General. This would be a huge win for Mike Madigan.
