The official statement was released early this morning, confirming the deaths of the members of the popular South Korean boy band, GOT7.
During last night's performance, an anti-fan disguised as a security guard entered the private rest area of the seven members, and slipped toxic chemicals into the performers' drinking cups, leading to the subsequent poisoning and eventual deaths of all seven members, all of whom were pronounced dead upon arrival. The band consisted of members: Im Jaebum, Park Jinyoung, Choi Youngjae, Wang Jiaer, Kim Yugyeom, Mark Tuan, and Kunpimook Bhuwakul (BamBam).
CEO of JYP Entertainment, GOT7's label, released a statement expressing their grief and condemnation earlier today: "...great souls were lost in this act of complete selfishness...".
