Alabama AD, Greg Byrne, drops bombshell on Tide Nation Wednesday morning announcing the departure of Nick Saban. In a press conference following the accusations brought by Lane Kiffin, Byrne addresses Saban's sudden departure.
NCAA officials declined to comment on the investigation, but sanctions are imminent.

News of the investigation pushes Saban to take a second shot as an NFL head coach. Many predicted that Saban would eventually return to the NFL for another shot and Cleveland seemed like the right move. Saban served as the Brown's Defensive Coordinator from 1991-1994 and was the Miami Dolphins Head Coach from 2005-2006 before taking the Alabama job. During his ten years at Alabama Saban's record is 122-19 where he has won 4 National Championships and 5 SEC Championships.

Jimmy Haslam, owner of the Browns, took to twitter late Wednesday saying "We are excited to start the PROCESS here in Cleveland" During the press conference in Tuscaloosa, Byrne declined comment on who Alabama Is considering to replace Saban but sources say the top prospects are Chip Kelly, Bob Stoops, and Les Miles.

Alabama has their SEC opener this Saturday, September 23rd against Vanderbilt. Kickoff at 2:30 CDT on CBS.
