Witnesses identified a man that robbed Speedway gas station on 9/15. After the pictures went viral, 3 people came forward with all the same name in mind.
Dekote David Ricketts, 29 of New Boston, Ohio robbed Speedway gas station at gunpoint in the late evening of 9/15. We are not sure yet who the cashier is but the manager of Speedway did inform us that Ricketts fired a shot toward him, grazing his shoulder. Ricketts left with an unknown amount of money in a black bag.
Ricketts has been apprehended and is awaiting trial for the robbery. The cashier that was shot in the shoulder is at SOMC and doing well. We are unsure of the charges that await on that matter.
