At a recent Ironton city council meeting Mayor Katrina Keith addressed an alarming report received from the EPA. Ironton City water was one of several cities in southern Ohio to be pulled for toxins testing. Test results conclude that a significant amount of the toxin Clostridium botulinum is present in the water supply. Residents may receive a free screening at the Ironton Health Department.
