Despite having never played football before in his life, and the fact that the Super Bowl isn't played until February ... this week local man Ryan Quast lead the Minnesota Vikings to their first Super Bowl victory.

"It wasn't easy", said Quast about playing both quarterback and middle linebacker, "But I just felt like I had to do my part. I feel very humbled by my awesomeness."

Quast added later that he didn't expect to be the first player in NFL history to throw five touchdowns to himself in a Super Bowl (or any game foe that matter), but that anything is possible if you believe in yourself ... after a couple of beers.

Quast announced that he would be placing his Super Bowl MVP trophy next to his Nobel Peace Prize, and Sexiest Man Alive Award on his mantel in his garage ... and also that it was very cool of halftime act Pearl Jam to allow him to get up and jam along to "Yellow Ledbetter" while in full pads.

The Vikings then announced that due to this amazing victory they were signing Quast to a new 5 year $100 million dollar contract (all guaranteed money) so that they could try to repeat and keep the 0-16 Green Bay Packers down.
