Americans are being urged to avoid travel to Punta Cana as there have been an increased number of bed bug outbreaks. Poor sanitary conditions in the hotels have also lead to a higher than normal amount of food poisoning. Large hotels such as Hard Rock and Riu are not immune to this problem either as both hotels saw high amounts of reports.
