Mr. Smith walked into Hall's Quick Shop in Twin City to pay for $10 worth of gas for his lawnmower, and decided to take a chance.
"All I had was $15 on me" he said. "So, I decided to spend it all and splurged on a $5 scratch off." He was surprised when he got home and discovered it was a $100,000 winner.
"I went to where my wife works, and she was shocked," he admitted when he showed her the ticket. Some of here coworkers were so excited, they called the local radio station and set up this interview. They put him on the phone and he described how it felt to be $100,000 richer. "At first I couldn't believe it. I'm never lucky at anything. But, when it finally sank in, I thought, this is going to be a good year after all!"
