City of Lowell - Two pit bulls are in custody after Lowell police served a warrant at 21 High street searching for Buddy, 6, of 21 High street and Razkal, 4, of 376 Appleton street in connection with an on-going investigation which led police to raid the High street apartment. 210 grams of heroine, 34 grams of cocaine, and other drug paraphernalia involved with distribution were seized. Illegal firearms along with live ammunition were also seized. Buddy and Razkal will be arraigned in Lowell's municipal court this following Monday (10/30/2017).
Police in Chief Mickey McNiel commented "The pit bull epidemic is out of control, they're taking over the city and we are trying our best to falter their attempts at organized crime, they are very bad doggos."
The city of Lowell has already proposed a ban on pit bulls, although this has brought great controversy to the residents and natives of Lowell, frequent crime involving pit bulls has city officials leaning towards the ban.
A local resident who requested to be anonymous said this, "Those pit bulls need to get out of our city, I'm scared to even walk down the street because I'm afraid I'll get robbed or killed, they're always borking at me."
