Southern Pines resident,George DeLisle was busted early Saturday morning after publishing a fake news report of himself winning $250,000.00 on a scratch ticket. When we caught up with Mr. DeLisle outside his residence he apologized for any excitement he may have caused. He explained, " I just wanted to show the American people that I too can publish fake news just as our President Donny Trump can, and cause a euphoric feeling amongst the ill informed ".
