Toto guitarist Steve Lukather has been announced as the new Marilyn Manson bass player for the rest of the dates on the Heaven Upside Down tour.
Twiggy Ramirez, real name Jeordie White, has been fired from the band following allegations of a sexual abuse that happened some twenty years ago.
Lukather has thanked Manson for the opportunity and will also play guitar and bass on the next Marilyn Manson record. He will take a break from. Toto effective immediately to pursue this new project. A replacement is to be announced soon.
"He's someone I always wanted to work with, so it was the obvious choice when Twiggy had to leave the band", Manson said.
