The scandal continues in the case of Vandiver Mayor Brandon Howard. It has been reported that the mother of Mayor Howard, Mrs. Charlotte Howard of Sterrett, Al., was reportedly witnessed burning crucial evidence in the case against Mayor Howard.
Mrs. Howard's neighbors allegedly made the complaint about smoke coming from the back yard as well as a funny smell.
When the local news questioned her eldest son, Jeremy Howard, about the allegations he was quoted as saying "She wuttin burnin no papers! She was cookin deddy's supper."
Other family members have come fourth to corroborate Mrs. Howard's story. One local was ask about Mrs. Howard, he stated "It's well known through out the Sterrett community that she burns everything she cooks".
Mrs. Howard has adamantly denied both the charges against her and her son. Most people know her as an upstanding citizen of the community, but is there another side to this story?
