Jim Morrison the charasmatic lead singer of The Doors is commonly thought to have died in Paris back in 1971 but has been found alive. Now 74 years old he lives alone in Saumane-de-Vaucluse with his dog King. He said that he had decided that he couldn't live in the spotlight anymore and had faked his death so that he could escape to a quiet life where he could write his poetry, and do the normal things that he had missed so much. He likes to take King for quiet walks through the French countryside and had a one time owned a boat which was moored on the river down below in the valley.
He said he just wants to be left alone to live his life in the manner that he has come to enjoy over the past 46 years.
