Recently discovered files and contracts prove that the Kingsmen hit Louie Louie was actually written by a heretofore unknown songwriter. Richard Berry has long been credited with the writing of this famed song, but experts and historians now believe the song was penned by Bay Area photographer and videographer, Eric Predoehl. Until this discovery, Predoehl was known mostly for his long-running romantic relationship with former Monkee frontman, Davy Jones.
