Many residents of the Bramcote and Stapleford areas of Nottingham have been shocked to discover that a large traveler group has been given the rights to live permanently on Bramcote Hills Park in the borough of Broxtowe, Nottinghamshire.
The news comes after the demolition of the traveler communities current home which has been taken back by the county council.
Chris Parks who maintains the cricket pitch on the Park said “I’m appalled by the news, for the time being our club has been forced to stop. The area the travelers have been given is directly within our boundary.”
