It is official, according to recent report in the Ruskin Herald Tribune, the city of Ruskin Florida has more stray, roaming, and lost dogs than they do people. The data was provided by information obtained by the Facebook site "Ruskin Folks". On any given day, numerous dogs are reported on the Facebook site. These dogs have either been abandoned, running loose, or lost, unfortunately most do not have collars. Coincidentally during the same time frame, the number of cats in Ruskin has decreased. The Asian restaurant in Ruskin, when called about the cat shortage refused to comment. The mayor of Ruskin, Mr. Dis Isa Hoax, said, “although they cannot vote, we still care about our dog community, we just wish the owners were more responsible ~ or would buy a fence”.
