Carli Lloyd star of the USWNT and Houston Dash, two-time world player of the year has just been shot in Philadelphia by a few robbers on her money. According to eyewitnesses, Lloyd was harassed when she wanted to head for her car. When she found the attackers a bit too pushy, some of them would have been scolded and some pulling and pushing. Up to 1 person suddenly pulled a gun and started shooting. there were five shots to be heard. Carli Lloyd immediately sank to the ground. With injuries in the chest and stomach area. The perpetrators then fled. An Ambulance came on the spot but Lloyd had already died when it arrived.
