While on an African Safari, a Texas man was run over by a charging rhino. Don Johnsey, from Plano Texas, said he had read that if a rhino charged it was best to drop to the ground in a ball and let them run over you so that you don't get gouged by their horn. He was trying to get back to the jeep as several rhinos had become agitated at the picture taking when the rhinos charged. Someone in the jeep managed to get the picture. He was bruised, but not badly injured. You can see him curled up under the rhino in the picture. He said this was the last time he would track rhinos on foot.
