Reuters- A 2017 study from the University of Alabama's graduate program for Applied Social Statistics found that graduates from Texas A&M University were 9 overall more likely than graduates at other SEC schools to harbor "discriminatory" views. The study showed that Aggie grads were 11 more likely to believe that women should hold more traditional roles as wives and mothers than graduates of other Southeastern Conference schools and 12 more likely to agree that there should be "aggressive" measures to require Voter ID laws that are widely believed to discriminate against minority voters.

Ironically, Aggie grads were less likely to support tough standards on student athletes off the field behavior in an unofficial poll from USA Today.

The full study from the University of Alabama will be released March 1, 2018.
