On Sunday March 31st, a Smithtown woman got into a head on collision right on Main street in Smithtown at approximately 10:59 p.m. The other driver took off, and police are still on the search for him. If you see anything, the car was a black Nissan Centra with a young man driving it. Contact 911 if you see or hear anything. Police also say she died right then and there. The family will open up soon about funeral arrangements.
