Members of a local Bryan County Facebook page constantly on the brink of tears, finally have a space to let it all out.
The County Administration building is installing a "Cry Closet" for "stressed out Cramm-Bots," a statement on the front door reads.
The space is meant for "stressed out members of CRAMM that have no lives or anything better to do than complain and whine, and in turn, dwell on every conspiracy claim, and hair brained theory introduced by the pages administrators and contributing members of the city council."
"The space is meant to provide a place for Cramm-bots to take a short 10-minute break from their make believe world, and hopefully cope with reality."
And, there are rules listed: Knock before entering, only one person inside at a time, limit time inside to 10 minutes and turn the lights out before leaving. Instructions for turning the doorknob are posted obove it.
The closet, a free-standing both paid for through donations from the Bryan County Psychiatric Society, will be installed soon, pending building permits and county council approval. It's lined with a black interior, and plush stuffed animals are inside.
Timmy Gufe created the "cry closet" in his garage on his own time with the help of his mom, in hopes of helping others in his group of 8-10 real people.
"One aspect of improving it that I am currently exploring is maybe providing fresh cheese on certain days, to go with their favorite whine."
One person questioned if the closet was foolproof, to make sure all Cramm-bots can access it. A few people said there should be more of these around town due to the number of whining Cramm-bots in the area.
The county acknowledged the closet's installation, which was approved by the Supervisor, was an attempt to help Cramm-bots cope with reality."
The closet will remain in the building until further notice.
