Jimmy Page, of LED Zeppelin fame, lost the Telecaster he used on Zeppelin ‘s Second album to a gambling bet on the island of Puerto Rico. The guitar was stolen by crooks in a heist that involved mostly cash. Unbeknownst to the crooks as to the guitar’s background, it was lost. The guitar was found after a building’s foundation was blown away by the recent hurricanes. It is currently in the possession of an unknown person who has threatened to “bust it up” if efforts on recovering it are made. Puertorrican authorities are helping.
